RULES

Technical details.

1. Participants
There will be 18 men and 18 women in the competition. The personal list is presented at the end of this document.
Reserve players are in order of World Cup classification.
After March 31st 2019 – reserve players will be nominated by Chinese Draughts Association (CDA).
2. The events
2.1 Rapid
separate event for male/female;
three days with 7 rounds Swiss system tournaments (FMJD solkoff truncated);
time control 30 minutes plus 20 seconds increment.
2.2 Blitz
separate event for male/female;
two days with round robin tournaments;
time control 5 minutes plus 3 seconds increment.
3. Tie Breaks
For the round robin tournaments tie breaks will not be used for prizes. So, the prizes will be shared between tied players.
3.1 Rapid
3.1.1 truncated Solkoff: the largest total score of opponents played, not counting the weakest, if needed the second weakest etc.
3.1.2 average rating of opponents (FMD rating)
3.1.3 direct encounter
3.1.4 better place on FMJD rating list for rapid-blitz
3.2 Blitz
3.2.1 the largest number of victories
3.2.2 the result between the tied players
3.2.3 the best results obtained in the order of the classification
3.2.4 better place on FMJD rating list for rapid-blitz

Most of the games are being typed based on video recordings (there are only 6 games per round registered by e-boards).
It is a lot of (hand)work. Our apoligies that the games can be seen with some delay.

The games of the blitz tournament will be published (some days) after the tournament.
You can see already some games (3 per round for each tournament) which were live broadcasted
